Backcombing is making a comeback. Badgley Mischka was the third or fourth designer I saw use the teasing technique in their runway hair look – which makes sense with the 80s revival we’re seeing in fashion (Mark Jacobs, Chris Benz). Luckily, the look at Badgley Mischka was more Gwen Stefani *faux* faux hawk than big 80s hair.

MAC says “the icon adored by millions around the world is causing a commotion.” And we like it.
Today at the New York Saks Fifth Avenue store Dior’s Master Perfumer Francois Demachy will be speaking to Dior fragrance fans about key notes, ingredients and trends in fragrance. The talk, followed by a bottle-signing by Demachy, begins at 6:30.
Oooh, Mac’s new collection is seriously hot! It’s called Naughty nauticals, and is inspired by the high seas. You can expect to see all sorts of blues and reds then, as well as a dash of white thrown in, to this sailorette sexy collection.

Tonight some lucky Lancome shoppers got the chance to preview the new limited edition Juicy Tubes World Tour by Kane lip glosses due out in March. Celebrity and Fashion Week Makeup Artist Daniel Martin and the Lancome backstage makeup team were on hand to primp and polish guests, as Lancome artist Cira Lara is doing above right.
